Babe Zaharias Golf Course Known in the Tampa Bay area as "The Babe," Babe Zaharias Golf Course was named after Mildred Ella "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias, the female athlete of the 20th Century who owned and manged this historic golf course for 7 years.
